The event took place on 10-11 October 2024 in Starosel. It was attended by official representatives from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Bucharest, the Financial Mechanism Office, the Norwegian Correctional Service, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security of Norway, the Council of Europe and others. On the Bulgarian side, beneficiaries of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the current programming period participated, including the Directorate General for the Execution of Sentences, the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the National Bureau for Legal Aid and non-governmental organizations.
The President of the Association "Union for Bulgaria" - Kamelia Simeonova, presented to the participants the results achieved and successful practices in the implementation of the project BGJUSTICE-4.002-0016 "Increasing capacity and awareness on domestic violence and gender-based violence in the South Central Region", funded under the Justice Program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
